you could play fire jenga : D (maybee ...)

no fire spinning skill required there ... just willingness to get burnt a bit.

A few of use went juggling in Dollymount Beach last Sunday. It's pretty funky cos it's huge with lots of space and dunes.

Also quite easy to get to from town - bus and dart right beside it.

I'll probably be there every weekend anyway as it's right beside me.

And we found a pub across the road after :yum:
When I think, the box doesn't even bother showing up.

Ok Soooo As Great And Unknown Dollymount Sounds...
Portmarnock Seems To Be Getting The Best Feedback So Far....
But Were Still Open To Suggestions....

Annnnd It Would Have To Be About 8ish..
Or After...
Because It Will Generally Have To Be Dark To Juggle The Oul Fire.....

portmarnock is not as easy to get to as you make out and will require a bit of bus/rail combos for some people...

42 bus leaves town goes out through fairview and coolock and malahide over to portmarnock
102 bus goes from airport to sutton via swords malahide and portmarnock
rail station in portmarnock is not walking distance from where we'll be spinning
those coming from balbriggan/skerries direction or even the south side of the city will have to get train to malahide or portmarnock and bus it the rest of the way.

personally i dont care where we spin... i've driven to Glendalough just to spin fire in a cool place ;) but i have a car so it's not an issue for me where we go.

finding a location that easy for everyone to get to is what i think prevented the last version of this beach meet up idea from happening... :(

Portmarnock is the best place, just not the best location :(

I lack the knowledge of awsome places and whats where out here soo ... what beaches are nice and close to the train line? As I said before, I'll probably commute to whichever beach is picked, but if there's a nice one close to the train line a lot of people from town or even around the balbrigg/skerries area will have an easier time making it out.

but really I have no idea what I'm talking about ... i know nothing of this area!

I live in malahide, so if peoople get the train to malahide i could ferry them to portmarnock beach in the car? Maybe if other people who drive over would be willing to do the same we could get everyone moved in one go?
